Arthur J. Oaks
After clashing with professors in art schools he studied privately with various artists, from books, and from devouring as much art as he could swallow and even more that he couldn’t. Oaks worked in various highly disciplined art fields before chucking it all for the freedom of self-expression and abstraction.
Arthur describes his process, “I don’t consciously make abstracts, they just appear as if by magic while I am working in my studio.”
